Home-visiting programs

Prenatal Family Home

Having a baby is an exciting and challenging time. You may have a lot of questions and need help adjusting to life with a new baby. Southeast Public Health (SEPH) home visiting programs provide support during pregnancy, after your baby is born, and as your child grows.

Our home-visiting programs can help you learn about: having a healthy pregnancy and birth; connecting with your baby; how children grow and develop, as well as what you can do to help; becoming a parent; breastfeeding; food and healthy nutrition; taking care of yourself and your family; and other services available to you and your child in your community (such as health services, parenting programs, family literacy programs, and financial aid).

Refer early! Early support helps families build confidence and establish a strong foundation for their child’s healthy development from the very beginning.

For more information on our home-visiting programs, and to see if these programs are a good fit for you, complete the online referral form and a public health nurse will contact you. Remember, these programs are free, confidential and participation is voluntary!
